Is Visme Better Than Canva?

As a freelance graphic designer, I am always on the lookout for new and improved design tools. I recently came across Visme, and was intrigued. I had heard of Canva before, but never really gave it a try.

After doing some research, I decided to give Visme a go. Here is a comparison of the two design tools, based on my experience.

Ease of Use

Canva is extremely user-friendly. Even if you have no design experience, you can easily create beautiful designs with Canva.

The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. With Visme, I found the interface to be a bit more confusing and difficult to use. It took me some time to get used to it.

Design Templates

Canva has a wide variety of design templates for you to choose from. Whether you need an infographic, a social media post, or a presentation, you can find a template that suits your needs.

With Visme, I found the selection of templates to be more limited. There were not as many options to choose from.

Features

Both Canva and Visme offer a wide range of features. With Canva, you can upload your own images, or choose from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock photos.

You can also add text, shapes, and graphics to your designs. With Visme, you have the same options, plus the ability to create animated graphics and videos. I found the animated graphics feature to be particularly useful.

Pricing

Canva offers a free version with limited features, or you can upgrade to a paid version starting at $12.95/month. With Visme, you can sign up for a free trial, or choose from one of their paid plans starting at $10/month.

Conclusion

After using both Canva and Visme, I prefer Visme. I find it to be more versatile and easy to use once you get used to the interface. The price is also very reasonable.
