How Do I Get My Pins From Pinterest to Canva?

Have you ever seen a beautiful image on Pinterest and wanted to turn it into a design? Maybe you wanted to make a custom mug with a quote or design some thank you cards with an illustration. Whatever the case, you can easily get your pins from Pinterest to Canva!

First, sign up for a free Canva account. Then, head over to Pinterest and find the image you want to use.

Open your Pinterest and find the image you want to embed to Canva

Once you have the image open, click on the “Share” button and then select “Embed.” Similarly, you can click the “Actions” button and click “Download Image” if embedding doesn’t work.

Once you selected the image you like, click the Actions button then Download Image

PRO TIP: If you are looking to get your pins from Pinterest to Canva, be warned that this process can be time-consuming and may not result in the same high-quality designs that you are used to seeing on Pinterest. In addition, be aware that Canva may not be able to provide the same level of customer support as Pinterest.

Copy the code that appears and head back over to Canva. In the left-hand sidebar, click on “Uploads” and then paste the code in the “Paste Embed Code” box.

Click “Add Image” and voila! The image will appear in your uploads folder.

Upload the Pins to the Canva Uploads tab and drag it to your document

Now that the image is in Canva, you can use it for whatever design project you have in mind. Have fun creating!
