There are a few different ways that you can add effects to text in Canva. One way is to use the Text tool to add a text box to your design, and then use the Format tab to choose from a variety of different effects. You can also add an effect by clicking on the element, and then choosing from the drop-down menu in the top-left corner

.

If you want to add an effect to only certain words or phrases, you can use the < b > tag. To do this, simply select the text you want to affect, and then click on the “B” button in the top-left corner.

PRO TIP: Canva is a great way to add effects to your text, but be careful! Some effects can be very subtle, and you might not notice them until after you’ve applied them. Make sure you’re happy with the effect before you save your work!

This will bold the selected text. You can also use the < u > tag to underline text, or the < i > tag to italicize it.

To change the color of your text, you can either click on the color swatch in the top-left corner, or use the hex code for the color you want. To find a hex code for a specific color, you can use a site like Color Codes (https://htmlcolorcodes.com/).

Finally, if you want to change the font of your text, you can click on the “A” button in the top-left corner and choose from a variety of different fonts.
