Can You Upload SVG to Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 5:22 pm

You can upload SVG to Canva in two ways:

1. Uploading the file directly into Canva

2. Converting the file into a PNG format

Method 1: Uploading the file directly into Canva

The first method is to upload the SVG file directly into Canva. To do this, simply click on the “Uploads” tab in the left-hand menu and then select “Upload your own images”.

Find the SVG file on your computer and click “Open”.

Your SVG file will now be uploaded into Canva and you can use it like any other image file. Simply drag and drop it onto your design.

PRO TIP: While Canva does support the upload of SVG files, there are some important things to keep in mind when doing so. First, be aware that not all SVG files will work with Canva – some files may be too complex or contain unsupported features. If you’re not sure whether your file will work, try uploading it to a free online converter such as Online-Convert.com to check. Also, keep in mind that when you upload an SVG file, Canva will automatically convert it to a PNG image. This means that you won’t be able to edit the file in Canva after it’s been uploaded – so make sure you have a copy of the original file saved before uploading!

Method 2: Converting the file into a PNG format

The second method is to convert the SVG file into a PNG format. To do this, you can use an online converter like Online Convert . Once you’ve converted the file, simply upload it into Canva like any other image file.
