How do I replace Sky in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 8:15 pm

Sky can be replaced in Photoshop with various different elements, including clouds, stars, and even a moon. To replace Sky, first open the image in Photoshop and select the Sky layer. Next, select the Replace Text tool (T) and click in the middle of the sky. Type in “sky” and press Enter.

PRO TIP: Replacing the sky in a photograph is a tricky proposition and should be attempted only by experienced Photoshop users. There are many ways to do it, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. It’s important to select the right method for the particular image you’re working with. Otherwise, you may end up with an unnatural-looking result.

The sky will now be replaced with the text. To change the color of the sky, select the Eyedropper tool (I) and click on a color close to the blue of the sky.
