How Do I Save a Canva File as a JPEG?

When you create a design in Canva, you can choose to download it as a JPEG, PNG or PDF. If you download your design as a JPEG, it will have a white background by default.

However, you can easily remove the background from a JPEG image in Canva to make it transparent. In this article, we’ll show you how to save a Canva file as a JPEG and make the background transparent.

To save your design as a JPEG in Canva:

  1. Open the design you want to download in Canva.
  2. Click on the ‘Download’ button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. In the ‘File Type’ drop-down menu, select ‘JPEG’.
  4. Click on the ‘Download’ button again.

To make the background of your JPEG image transparent:
