How Do You Quote With Canva?

Last updated on December 4, 2022 @ 9:44 pm

There are a few different ways that you can quote with Canva. You can either use the built-in quotation tool, or you can style your own text using the HTML < p >, < b >, and < u > tags.

If you want to use the built-in quotation tool, simply click on the “Quotes” button in the left sidebar. Then, enter your quote in the text box and hit “Apply.” Your quote will automatically be formatted with a nice, stylish font.

If you want to style your own text, you can do so by using the HTML < p >, < b >, and < u > tags. The < p > tag is used for paragraphs, the < b > tag is used for bolded text, and the < u > tag is used for underlined text. For example, if you wanted to quote someone and make sure their name was bolded and underlined, you would do so like this:

< p >< b >< u >“Insert quote here”< /u >< /b> -insert name here < /p >
You can also change the font size, color, and style of your quotes by using the HTML < font > tag. For example, if you wanted to make your quote red and italicized, you would do so like this:

< p >< font color="red" >< i >“Insert quote here”< /i >< /font > -insert name here < /p >

PRO TIP: Canva is a great tool for creating quotes, but there are a few things you need to be aware of when using it. First, make sure you have the right permissions to use any images you include in your quote. If you’re not sure, ask the owner or creator of the image for permission. Second, be aware that Canva’s terms of service allow them to use any content you create on their platform, so if you’re not comfortable with that, don’t use Canva.

As you can see, there are a few different ways that you can quote with Canva. Whether you use the built-in quotation tool or style your own text using HTML tags, you’ll be able to create beautiful quotes that will add some personality to your designs.
