Step One: Sign up for a free Canva account at Canva.com. You’ll need to provide your name, email address, and create a password.
Step Two: Once you’re logged in, you’ll be taken to the main design interface. On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll see a menu of templates to choose from. Scroll through the options and select the one that best suits your needs.
Step Three: Once you’ve selected a template, you’ll be taken to a blank canvas. Here, you can start adding your own content.
To add text, simply click on the “Text” box in the left-hand menu and start typing. You can format your text using the options that appear in the top toolbar (e.g., font size, color, alignment).
Step Four: To add images, click on the “Uploads” tab in the left-hand menu and select the image(s) you want to use from your computer. Once they’re uploaded, you can drag and drop them onto your canvas.
Step Five: When you’re happy with your worksheet, click on the “Download” button in the top toolbar and select your preferred file format (e., JPEG, PNG). You can also share your worksheet directly to Google Classroom or via a link.
Creating a Canva worksheet is a quick and easy way to add some visual interest to your lesson plans. With just a few clicks, you can have an engaging activity ready for your students.
