How Do I Make YouTube Stop Screening on Canva?

Most people think that the only way to stop YouTube from screening on Canva is to go into the settings and change the privacy settings. However, there is another way that is much simpler and does not require any changes to be made in the settings. All you need to do is add an HTML tag to the end of the URL.

When you are on the YouTube page that you want to embed, simply add &wmode=opaque at the end of the URL like this:

PRO TIP: If you are using Canva to create YouTube thumbnails, be aware that YouTube may start screening your thumbnails for inappropriate content. This can lead to your thumbnails being rejected or your account being suspended. To avoid this, make sure that your thumbnails are appropriate for all audiences and do not violate YouTube’s guidelines.

This will make the YouTube video be displayed on top of everything else on your Canva design and will prevent it from being screened.
