There are a few different ways to change the size of your design in Canva.

To make your design smaller or larger, first select all of the elements on your design canvas. Once everything is selected, click and drag on any corner of your selection to resize everything at once.

If you want to change the size of your design without affecting the proportions of your photos and other elements, click on the “chain” icon in the top toolbar. This will “lock” the proportions of your design, so that when you resize it, everything will stay in proportion.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to resize your Canva for Instagram, please be aware that there are some potential risks involved. For example, if you do not resize your Canva correctly, your Instagram account may be suspended or even deleted. In addition, if you share your Canva with others, they may be able to view your private information (such as your email address or home address). Therefore, it is important that you take care when resizing your Canva for Instagram and only share it with people you trust.

To make a specific element larger or smaller, click on that element and drag on the white circles that appear around its corners. When you’re done resizing, don’t forget to hit the “chain” icon again to unlock the proportions of your design!

You can also change the size of your entire design by clicking on the “Resize” button in the top toolbar. This will bring up a menu where you can select from a list of preset sizes, or enter custom dimensions for your design.

If you’re designing for social media, we recommend selecting one of our preset social media sizes. For example, if you want to resize your design for an Instagram post, select “Instagram Post” from the list of presets.

Once you’ve chosen your desired size, click “Apply” and your design will be resized to match!

There are a few different ways that you can change the size of your Canva designs to better suit your needs. Whether you’re looking to resize for social media or create a custom size, there’s an option for you!
