Canva is a user-friendly graphic design tool that is quickly becoming the go-to platform for users looking to create professional designs without any prior design experience. Canva offers users a wide range of templates for everything from social media posts to business cards, and users can even create their own designs from scratch using the platform’s simple drag-and-drop interface. Canva is free to use, but users can pay to upgrade to a Pro account for access to more features and resources.

Since launching in 2012, Canva has been growing rapidly, and the company has raised a total of $347 million in funding from investors including Sequoia Capital, Tiger Global Management, and Bond Capital.

Canva’s last funding round was a $60 million Series D in 2018, which valued the company at $1 billion.

PRO TIP: Canva has raised a total of $366M in funding over 7 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on Jan 31, 2019 from a Series E round.

Canva is a great tool for creating visuals, but be aware that they have raised a lot of money from investors. This could mean that they are under pressure to generate revenue and may start charging for features that are currently free.
