If Photoshop installation failed, first try to uninstall and reinstall the program. If that doesn’t work, then try following these steps:

  1. Open Photoshop and go to File > Account Settings.
  2. Under Account Type, make sure that it is set to Personal.
  3. Under User Name or Email Address, enter the email address that was used to purchase Photoshop.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Under Login Options, make sure that it is set to Use My Google Account.
  6. Under Photoshop Installation Location, make sure that it is set to the default location.
  7. Under Default Behavior, make sure that it is set to Always Use My Default Programs.

If the issue persists, take the following steps:

  1. Click the Start button, type regedit in the search box, and click the regedit icon that appears.
  2. Click the File menu, point to New, and click File.
  3. Type HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Photoshop CS6\Settings\ and press Enter.
  4. Under Photoshop CS6 Settings, make sure that the UseLegacySettings value is set to 0.
  5. Close all open windows.
  6. Restart your computer.
  7. Try reinstalling Photoshop.
PRO TIP: If you are having trouble installing Photoshop, there are a few things you can try:

-Restart your computer and try again
-Make sure you have enough free space on your hard drive
-Disable any security software that may be blocking the installation
-Contact Adobe customer support for help
