The Default Bleed in Canva is 0.75 inches (1.905 cm).

This means that when you print your design, the printer will print 0.905 cm) beyond the edge of your design. This extra printed area is called “bleed” and is used to account for slight variations in print alignment.

PRO TIP: Canva’s default bleed is 3mm. This means that when you print your design, 3mm of it will be trimmed off. Make sure to account for this when designing your print file!

Having a bleed ensures that your design will print to the edge of the paper, without any white borders.
