Does Canva Store Your Data?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 10:19 pm

As a general rule, Canva does not store your data. When you upload an image to Canva, we store the image in order to display it back to you. We also store the image so that you can edit it at a later time.

However, we do not store the image permanently. If you delete an image from Canva, we will also delete the image from our servers.

The only time that we will store your data is if you explicitly tell us to. For example, if you use our “Download” feature to download a copy of your design, we will store a copy of the design on our servers.

However, we will only store this copy for 24 hours. After that, the copy will be deleted.

PRO TIP: Canva may store your data in order to provide you with a better service. However, this could also mean that your data could be shared with third parties without your consent. You should be aware of this before using Canva and make sure that you are happy for your data to be stored in this way.

In conclusion, Canva does not store your data unless you tell us to. If you have any concerns about your data being stored, please contact our support team.
