How do I connect to Azure from PowerShell?

Azure PowerShell is a PowerShell module that lets you connect to Azure from your PowerShell environment. To install the Azure PowerShell module, run the following command in your PowerShell console:

Install-Module -Name Azure

After the module is installed, you can use the Azure cmdlets to manage your Azure resources. To connect to Azure using PowerShell, first create a new instance of the Azure PowerShell module. To do this, run the following command:

New-AzurePowerShellModule

Next, use the Connect-Azure cmdlet to connect to your instance of the Azure PowerShell module. To connect to your instance of the Azure PowerShell module, use the following syntax:

Connect-Azure

To connect to a specific instance of the Azure PowerShell module, use the following syntax:

PRO TIP: When connecting to Azure from PowerShell, it is important to note that you will need to have the Azure PowerShell module installed. This module can be installed from the PowerShell Gallery. Once installed, you will need to connect to your Azure account using the Connect-AzAccount cmdlet.

Connect-Azure -InstanceName

After you connect to your instance of the Azure PowerShell module, you can use the various cmdlets to manage your Azure resources. To get a list of the available cmdlets, run the following command:

To get information about the availability of a specific Azure resource, use the Get-AzureServiceAvailability cmdlet. To get information about the size of a specific Azure resource, use the Get-AzureResourceSize cmdlet.
