QR codes are becoming more and more popular. You see them everywhere, from product packaging to billboards. They’re a convenient way to share information, and they can be used to track data.
Creating a QR code is easy, and there are a number of free online tools that allow you to do so. Canva is one of those tools.
Canva is a free online design platform that’s beloved by bloggers and small businesses for its simple, user-friendly interface. It’s also great for creating QR codes.
To create a QR code in Canva:
1. Go to www.canva.com and sign up for an account.
2. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Create a design” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
3. A pop-up window will appear.
Select “Use custom dimensions” and enter 600px x 600px for the width and height. Then click on the “Create design” button.
4. You’ll be taken to your design canvas.
In the search bar at the top of the screen, type “QR code” and hit enter. A number of QR code templates will appear. Select the one you like best and click on it to open it up on your canvas.
5. Now, enter the URL or text that you want your QR code to link to in the text box that appears in the middle of the template (it will say “Enter your URL or text here”).
Make sure that the box is highlighted in blue, as this indicates that your QR code is linked correctly. If it’s not highlighted in blue, click on it again and make sure that you entered your URL or text correctly.
6. Once your QR code is linked, you can download it by clicking on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen and selecting your preferred file format (JPEG, PNG, or PDF). You can also share your QR code directly by clicking on the “Share” button and copying the link or embed code provided.
