How Do I Get to Smartmockups in Canva?

Last updated on December 8, 2022 @ 6:23 am

We all want our presentations to look amazing, whether we’re trying to land a new client or simply want to stand out in front of our boss. Smartmockups can help you achieve that goal, and the best part is that you can access it right from within Canva!

To get started, simply log in to your Canva account and click on the “Create a design” button. Next, select “Use custom dimensions” and enter 1000x1000px for the width and height. This will give you a blank canvas on which to create your mockup.

Now it’s time to start adding your content. Begin by dragging and dropping an image from your computer onto the canvas. This will be the background for your mockup, so make sure it’s something that looks good and is relevant to your presentation.

Once you have your background in place, it’s time to start adding some text. To do this, simply click on the “Text” button in the toolbar and then click on the area of the canvas where you want to add your text. A text box will appear; simply type in your text and hit the “Enter” key when you’re done.

PRO TIP: You may be taken to a site that is not Canva. Canva has a partnership with Smartmockups, but you will need to create an account with Smartmockups in order to access their services.

If you want to dress up your text a bit, you can use the various formatting options that are available. To bold your text, for example, simply select the text and click on the “B” button in the toolbar. You can also underline text by selecting it and clicking on the “U” button.

When you’re happy with how your mockup looks, simply download it by clicking on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen. You can choose to download it as a PNG or JPG file.

So there you have it! Creating a mockup with Smartmockups is easy and only takes a few minutes. So next time you need to create a presentation that looks amazing, be sure to give Smartmockups a try.
