When you’re creating graphics for your website, you may want to use a transparent background so that the image can blend in with the site’s background color. You can create a transparent background in Canva Mobile by using the “Erase” tool.
To make a transparent background:
1. Open Canva Mobile and sign in or create an account. 2. Tap on the “+” icon to create a new design. 3. Select the template size you want to use or tap on “Custom Dimensions” to enter your own width and height. 4. Tap on “Background” at the bottom of the screen and select the “Erase” tool.
5. Use your finger to erase the areas of the image that you want to be transparent. The erased areas will become transparent when you save the image. 6. Tap on “Done” when you’re finished erasing and then tap on “Save.” 7. Choose whether you want to save your image as a PNG or JPG file. PNG files support transparency, while JPG files do not.
