How Do I Upload Century Gothic to Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 11:01 pm

If you’re looking to add a little bit of personality to your Canva designs, one way to do so is by uploading your own fonts. Canva supports a wide range of fonts, however, Century Gothic is not currently one of them. Here’s a workaround that will allow you to use Century Gothic in your Canva designs.

First, you’ll need to download the font from a reputable source. We recommend downloading it from DaFont. Once you’ve downloaded the font, open up the zipped folder and install the font file on your computer.

Next, open up Canva and create a new design. In the text tool, type out the text you want to use in your design. Then, highlight the text and select ‘Custom Fonts’ from the font drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for a guide on how to upload Century Gothic to Canva, be warned that there is no such guide available. Canva does not currently support the upload of any fonts other than those that are already available within the Canva interface. This means that if you want to use Century Gothic on Canva, you will need to use one of the workarounds described below.

In the ‘Custom Fonts’ window that pops up, select ‘Add New Fonts’. This will open up your computer’s file explorer.

Navigate to where you saved the Century Gothic font file and select it. The font will then be added to Canva and you can start using it in your designs!

So there you have it! A workaround that will allow you to use Century Gothic in your Canva designs. Give it a try and see how it looks!
