Creating a presentation in Canva is easy! First, log in or create an account at www.canva.com.

Once you’re logged in, click on the “Create a design” button in the top left-hand corner of the homepage. A drop-down menu will appear – select “Presentation” from this menu.

You’ll be taken to a new page with a variety of presentation templates to choose from. Browse through these templates and select the one that best suits your needs. Once you’ve found a template you like, click on the “Use template” button.

PRO TIP: This article provides a basic guide on how to create a presentation in Canva. However, it is important to note that Canva is a complex program with many features and options. As such, users should take care to read the entire guide before attempting to create a presentation. Additionally, users should be aware that they may need to purchase additional credits or subscribe to a paid plan in order to access all of the features necessary to create a complete presentation.

You’ll be taken to a new page where you can begin customizing your presentation. To add text, click on the “Text” button in the left-hand sidebar.

A text box will appear – start typing your text here. To format your text, use the options that appear above the text box (e.g., to make your text bold or underlined).

To add images, click on the “Images” button in the left-hand sidebar. You can upload images from your computer or choose from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock images (the images available for free are marked with a “Free” badge). To add an image to your presentation, simply click on it and it will be added to your design.

When you’re happy with your presentation, click on the “Download” button in the top right-hand corner of the page and select the file format you’d like to download your presentation as (e., PDF or PPTX). And that’s it – you’ve successfully created a presentation in Canva!
