Designing a three-dimensional (3D) box in Canva is easy and only takes a few minutes. With Canva’s wide array of tools and features, you can create a 3D box that is both unique and eye-catching. Here’s how:
First, log in to your Canva account and select the “Create a design” option. Next, choose the “Custom dimensions” option from the drop-down menu.
In the “Width” and “Height” fields, enter the desired dimensions for your 3D box. For this example, we will use 6 inches for the width and 12 inches for the height.
Once you have entered the dimensions, select the “Unit of Measure” drop-down menu and choose “inches.” This will ensure that your design is created at the correct size. If you do not select “inches,” your design may be created at a different size than intended.
Next, click on the “Background” tab and select the color you would like to use for your 3D box. For this example, we will use white. However, feel free to experiment with different colors to find what works best for your design.
Once you have selected a color, click on the “Uploads” tab and upload any images or logos that you would like to include on your 3D box. For this example, we will upload a logo to the center of our box.
With your background color and image(s) in place, it’s time to add some text to your 3D box. Click on the “Text” tab and select the “Add Heading” option.
In the text field, enter the text you would like to appear on your 3D box. For this example, we will simply add our company name.
Once you have entered your text, select the “Font” drop-down menu and choose a font that you like. For this example, we will use the “Arial Black” font. You can also experiment with different fonts to find what works best for your design.
With your text in place, it’s time to add some finishing touches to your 3D box. Click on the “Shapes” tab and select the “Rectangle” option.
Draw a rectangle around your text using the mouse cursor. Once you have drawn your rectangle, click on the “Border” tab and select a border color for your rectangle. For this example, we will use black.
Now that you have added all of your desired elements to your 3D box, it’s time to download or share it! Click on the “Download” or “Share” button in the top-right corner of the screen.
If you choose to download your 3D box, select the file format you would like to use (JPG, PNG, or PDF) and then click on the “Download” button. If you choose to share your 3D box, simply enter the email address of the person you would like to share it with and click on the “Share” button.
