Why Can’t I Save in Canva?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 12:13 am

There are a few potential reasons why you might not be able to save in Canva:

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Canva and try to save it, you may receive an error message that says “Why Can’t I Save in Canva?” This is a known issue that our team is working on fixing. In the meantime, you can try the following workaround:

1. Click the “Download” button instead of “Save.”

2. Choose “PDF – Print” as your file type.

3. Click “Download.”

4. Open the PDF in another program (like Adobe Acrobat) and save it as a PNG or JPG file.

1) You’re not logged in – If you’re not logged in, you won’t be able to save your design. Make sure you are logged in by checking the top right corner of the screen.

2) You’re on the free trial – The free trial only allows you to export low-resolution images. To be able to save your designs in high resolution, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid account.

3) Your design is too big – Some designs can’t be saved in high resolution if they’re too big. If your design is too big, try exporting it as a PDF instead.
