How do you use angles in Figma?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 6:39 pm

Angles are a fundamental concept in Figma. They are used to create shapes, and to define relationships between objects.

You can use angles to create corners, to create straight lines, and to create shapes that are otherwise difficult to create.

To create a shape with an angle, first select the object you want to create the shape with. Then, use the Angle tool to select the angle you want to use.

PRO TIP: When working with angles in Figma, it is important to be precise and use the correct measurements. Otherwise, your designs may not look as intended.

You can use the handles on the Angle tool to make your angle more precise.

Once you have selected the angle, you can use the Line tool to create the line that will define the shape. You can also use the Pen tool to add a border around the edge of the shape.

Finally, you can use the Text tool to add text to the shape. You can use the Angle tool to change the angle of the text, and you can use the handles on the Angle tool to make the text more precise.
