How Do I Check for Figma Updates?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:10 pm

Figma is a cloud-based design tool that allows you to create and collaborate on vector graphics. It is becoming increasingly popular with web and UX designers, as it offers a free trial and a low monthly subscription price. One of the great things about Figma is that it automatically updates your designs when new versions are released, so you don’t have to worry about manually checking for updates.

To check for updates in Figma, simply open the app and click on the “Check for Updates” button in the top-right corner of the screen. Figma will then check for any new updates and notify you if there are any available. You can also find this button in the “Help” menu.

If there are any new updates available, Figma will provide you with a link to download them. Simply click on the “Download” button and follow the instructions. Once the update has been downloaded, you can install it by double-clicking on the file and following the prompts.

It’s always a good idea to keep your software up to date, as new versions often include bug fixes and performance improvements. Updating Figma is quick and easy, so there’s no excuse not to do it!

PRO TIP: If you are unsure about how to check for updates in Figma, we recommend that you seek help from a Figma expert or support team member. Checking for updates can be tricky, and if done incorrectly, can result in data loss or file corruption.
