How Do I Create a Collection Page in Shopify?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 1:32 pm

If you’re using Shopify to sell products online, you might want to create a collection page to help customers find what they’re looking for. A collection page is a page that displays all the products in a certain category, such as “Sale” or “New Arrivals”. Creating a collection page is easy and only takes a few minutes.

To create a collection page, first go to the “Collections” tab in your Shopify admin. Then, click the “Create Collection” button.

Give your collection a name and description, then choose whether you want it to be visible to customers or not. If you want customers to be able to find your collection, make sure the “Collection is visible” checkbox is selected.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to create a collection page in Shopify, be aware that there are some potential risks involved. First of all, collection pages can be very time-consuming to create and maintain, so make sure you have the time and resources available to do so before getting started. Additionally, collection pages can sometimes be difficult for customers to navigate, so it is important to make sure your page is well-organized and easy to use. Finally, keep in mind that collection pages can be a bit of a gamble – they may not always result in increased sales, so be prepared for that possibility as well.

Now it’s time to add products to your collection. You can do this manually by clicking the “Add products” button and selecting the products you want to add, or you can add products automatically by choosing a condition from the “Automatically add products” drop-down menu.

Once you’ve added all the products you want, click the “Save collection” button. Your new collection page will now be live on your store!

Creating a collection page is a great way to help customers find what they’re looking for on your store. With just a few clicks, you can easily create a new page that showcases all of your products in one place.
