Does Figma Have Text Styles?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:23 pm

Text Styles in Figma are a great way to keep your design consistent and easy to change. There are four different types of text styles: paragraph, heading, subheading, and monospace.

Paragraph styles are the most basic type of text style and are perfect for body copy. To create a paragraph style, simply select some text and click the “Create Paragraph Style” button in the toolbar.

PRO TIP: Figma does not currently have text styles. This means that if you want to change the style of your text, you will need to do so manually. This can be time-consuming and may not always produce the results you want.

Heading styles are larger and more attention-grabbing than paragraph styles, making them perfect for titles and headings. To create a heading style, select some text and click the “Create Heading Style” button in the toolbar.

Subheading styles are similar to heading styles, but are a bit smaller and less attention-grabbing. They’re perfect for subtitles and secondary headings. To create a subheading style, select some text and click the “Create Subheading Style” button in the toolbar.

Monospace styles are perfect for code snippets or any other type of text that needs to be evenly spaced. To create a monospace style, select some text and click the “Create Monospace Style” button in the toolbar.
