There are two ways to change the background color in Figma. The first way is to use the fill tool. With the fill tool selected, click on the color you want to use in the palette. Then click on the area you want to fill.

The second way is to use the paint bucket tool. With the paint bucket tool selected, click on the color you want to use in the palette.

You can also style text in HTML using < p >, < b > and < u > tags where applicable. To do this, simply enclose the text you want to style in the appropriate tags.

For example, to make text bold, you would enclose it in < b > tags like this: This is bold text. To make text underlined, you would enclose it in < u > tags like this: This is underlined text. And finally, to create a paragraph, you would enclose your text in < p > tags like this:

This is a paragraph of text.

This is bold text
This is underlined text

This is a paragraph of text.

In conclusion, there are two ways to change the background color in Figma – by using the fill tool or by using the paint bucket tool. You can also style text in HTML using < p >, < b > and < u > tags where applicable.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, or if you are not comfortable working with design software, we do not recommend changing the background color in Figma. Doing so could result in your design looking unfinished or unprofessional.
