How Do You Animate Typing in Figma?

If you’re looking to add some flair to your next Figma design, why not try animating your text It’s a great way to add some life to your designs and make them more engaging for your viewers.

Plus, it’s really easy to do! In this article, we’ll show you how to animate your text in Figma with just a few clicks.

First, open up the project that you want to add the animation to in Figma. Then, select the text layer that you want to animate. Next, click on the “Animation” tab in the top toolbar. This will open up the Animation panel.

In the Animation panel, you’ll see a list of all of the available animations that you can apply to your text layer. To animate your text layer, simply click on the animation that you want to apply. For this example, we’ll be using the “Typewriter” animation.

For our “Typewriter” animation, we can customize the typing speed and whether or not we want the cursor to be visible.

When you’re happy with how your animation looks, simply click on the “Play” button in the bottom-left corner of the Animation panel. This will preview your animation so that you can see how it looks before exporting it.

Once you’re happy with how your animation looks, export it by clicking on the “Export” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This will open up a new window where you can choose how you want to export your animation.
