How Do You Do Multiple Interactions in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:31 pm

There are multiple ways to do interactions in Figma. The first way is to use the built in interaction triggers. These are found in the Interactions panel, and include things like On Hover, On Click, and On Tap. You can also use Keyframes to create more complex interactions.

PRO TIP: If you’re working on a design that requires multiple interactions, it’s important to be aware of how Figma handles them. By default, Figma will only allow you to interact with one element at a time. This can be frustrating if you’re trying to work on a complex design that requires multiple interactions.

There are a few ways to work around this limitation. One is to use the “Layers” panel to select multiple elements. This will allow you to interact with all of the selected elements at the same time. Another way is to use the “Group” function to group elements together. This will also allow you to interact with all of the elements in the group at the same time.

Keep in mind that these workarounds may not always be ideal. If you’re working on a design that requires precise interactions with multiple elements, it’s best to use a tool that supports this type of interaction natively.

Keyframes allow you to specify different states for an object, and then define how it transitions between those states. Finally, you can use the Customize panel to create your own interactions using JavaScript. This is a more advanced option, but it gives you a lot of flexibility when it comes to creating interactions.
