Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:44 pm

Auto Layout in Figma is a powerful tool that allows you to quickly and easily create complex layouts. It’s perfect for designing responsive websites, apps, or any other type of interface. But where is it?

Auto Layout is located in the “Layout” tab of the “Properties” panel. To access it, simply select the layer(s) you want to add Auto Layout to, and then click the “Layout” tab. You’ll see a list of options for setting up your Auto Layout, including “Align”, “Distribute”, and “Stack”.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for the Auto Layout feature in Figma, you will not find it! Auto Layout is a feature that is exclusive to Sketch and is not available in Figma.

Align allows you to align your layers horizontally or vertically. You can also choose to align them to the left, center, or right of the page.

Distribute allows you to distribute your layers evenly between each other. And Stack allows you to stack your layers on top of each other.

Auto Layout is a powerful tool that can save you a lot of time when designing responsive interfaces. So next time you’re wondering where it is, just remember: it’s in the “Layout” tab of the “Properties” panel.
