How Do I Make a Button Clickable in Figma?

Last updated on November 25, 2022 @ 3:04 pm

There are a few different ways to make a button clickable in Figma. One way is to use the “Clickable” component from the UI library. This component has an onClick event that can be configured to trigger an action. Another way is to use a frame with an interaction assigned to it.

PRO TIP: This article contains outdated information. The Figma interface has changed since this was written, and the instructions in the article no longer work.

This can be done by creating a frame, adding an interaction, and then configuring the frame to be clickable. Finally, you can use a hotspot layer to make any layer clickable. hotspot layers are invisible layers that can be used to trigger an action when clicked.
