There are a few reasons why you might not be able to edit your Wix site. One reason could be that your site was created with a Wix template and the template doesn’t allow for certain changes to be made.

-Your site may not be published. Make sure that you have published your site before trying to edit it.
-You may be trying to edit your site from a mobile device. Wix does not currently support editing sites from mobile devices. Try editing your site from a desktop or laptop computer instead.
-You may be logged out of your Wix account. Make sure that you are logged in before trying to edit your site.
Another reason could be that you’re using a free Wix plan and upgrading to a paid plan would give you access to more editing options. Finally, it’s also possible that your site was created with an older version of Wix and upgrading to the latest version would give you access to the new editor.
If you can’t edit your Wix site, it could be for one of the following reasons:
- Your site was created with a Wix template and the template doesn’t allow for certain changes to be made.
