How Do I Use Figma in Google Slides?

Figma is a great tool for designing user interfaces, and it’s especially handy for creating slide presentations. You can use Figma to create your own custom Google Slides themes, or to quickly design slides from scratch. In this article, we’ll show you how to use Figma in Google Slides, and how to style text using HTML tags.

To use Figma in Google Slides, first sign up for a Figma account at figma.com. Once you’ve created an account, you can create a new file by clicking the “Create New File” button on the homepage. Alternatively, you can click the “Open File” button to open an existing file.

Once you’ve opened or created a new file, you can begin designing your slide presentation. To add a new slide, click the “+” button in the top-left corner of the screen. This will open the “Add Frame” dialog box, where you can choose from a variety of pre-designed slide templates.

PRO TIP: While Figma can be a great tool for designing presentations, it is important to be aware that it is not compatible with Google Slides. This means that you will not be able to edit or change your presentation once it has been exported to Google Slides.

Once you’ve added your slides, you can start adding content to them. To add text, click the “Text” tool in the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen.

Then, click on the slide where you want to add text, and start typing. To format your text, you can use the various options in the “Text” toolbar that appears above your document.

You can also add images to your slides by clicking the “Image” tool in the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen. Then, click on the slide where you want to add an image, and select an image file from your computer. You can also add images from online sources by clicking the “URL” tab in the “Image” dialog box.

Once you’ve added all of your content to your slides, you can save your presentation as a PDF by clicking the “File” menu at the top of the screen and selecting “Export > PDF (.pdf)” from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can click the “Share” button in the top-right corner of the screen and select “Get Shareable Link > Presentation” from the drop-down menu.
