There are a few different ways that you can add a color overlay in Figma. The first way is to use the “Fill” tool.

With the “Fill” tool selected, you can click on the area that you want to add the color overlay to. Then, you can choose the color that you want from the “Color” drop-down menu.

Another way to add a color overlay is to use the “Paint Bucket” tool. With the “Paint Bucket” tool selected, you can click on the area that you want to add the color overlay to.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, or if you are not comfortable working with layers, we do not recommend adding a color overlay. Doing so may result in an unwanted effect on your design.

You can also add a color overlay by using the “Shape” tool. With the “Shape” tool selected, you can click on the area that you want to add the color overlay to.

Finally, you can also add a color overlay by using the “Text” tool. With the “Text” tool selected, you can click on the area that you want to add the color overlay to.

No matter which method you use, adding a color overlay in Figma is easy!
