In Figma, you can make a Circular Progress Bar using the following steps:
- Click on the ‘+’ sign in the left panel to create a new frame.
- In the new frame, select the oval shape tool from the toolbar.
- Click and drag on the canvas to create a circle.
- With the circle selected, open the ‘Stroke’ section in the right panel.
- Click on the dropdown next to ‘Line Join’ and select ‘Round’.
- Enter a value for ‘Stroke Width’. This will determine the thickness of your progress bar.
- Click on the fill color well and select a color for your progress bar. You can also add a gradient by clicking on the ‘Gradient’ option.
- With the circle still selected, go to the ‘Arrange’ section in the right panel and click on the ‘Align Vertically’ and ‘Align Horizontally’ options.
- Note:
This will ensure that your progress bar is perfectly centered in your frame.
- To add a value label to your progress bar, select the ‘Text’ tool from the toolbar and click on the canvas. Enter your desired value in the text box that appears. To format your text, you can use the options in the right panel.
- You can also add a second value label by duplicating your first one (select it and press cmd/ctrl + D). To position this label underneath your progress bar, select both it and your progress bar and go to the ‘Arrange’ section in the right panel. Click on the ‘Align Vertically’ option twice so that your label is aligned with both the top and bottom of your progress bar. Then, click on the ‘Align Horizontally’ option so that your label is centered.
- To animate your progress bar, go to the ‘Prototyping’ tab in the top navigation bar. Then, click on your progress bar frame in the left panel to select it. In the middle panel, click on the ‘+’ sign next to ‘Actions’.
- Select ‘Animate Progress Bar’ from the dropdown menu. In the dialog box that appears, enter a value for ‘Duration’. This will determine how long it takes for your progress bar to fill up. Then, click on ‘Create Animation’.
