Can You Pull Code From Wix?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 10:01 pm

Wix is a popular website builder that allows users to create custom websites without having to write code. However, some users may want to pull code from their Wix site in order to make changes or add features that are not available through the Wix interface.

While it is possible to pull code from a Wix site, it is not recommended for most users as it can be difficult to edit and may cause errors on your website. If you are comfortable editing code, you can follow the instructions below to pull code from your Wix site.

3. Select the “Advanced” tab from the left-hand sidebar.

4. Scroll down to the “Code” section and click on the “Edit Code” button.

5. A new window will open with the code for your website. You can now copy and paste this code into a text editor such as Notepad or TextEdit.

6. Save your changes and close the window.

7. That’s it! You have now successfully pulled code from your Wix site.

While it is possible to pull code from a Wix site, it is not recommended for most users as it can be difficult to edit and may cause errors on your website. If you are comfortable editing code, you can follow the instructions above to pull code from your Wix site.

PRO TIP: If you are considering pulling code from Wix, be warned that it is not recommended. Wix is a visual site builder and the code is not meant to be pulled or edited. Doing so can break the site and cause unexpected issues.
