Can I Export Code From Figma?

Figma has a built-in code editor that lets you edit your designs’ code directly. You can also export your designs as code snippets or files. To export your designs as code:

    1. Select the design you want to export in the left sidebar.
    2. Click the Export icon in the top bar.
    3. Select Code from the dropdown menu.
    4. Choose whether to export as a snippet or file.
    5. Click Export.

Once you’ve exported your code, you can style it using HTML < p >,< b > and < u > tags where applicable.

PRO TIP: There is no easy way to export code from Figma. The best way to do it is to use the Figma API, which is still in beta. If you are not a developer, you will likely not be able to use the API.
