Can You Embed Figma in Google Docs?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:17 pm

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, which is primarily web-based, although there is a desktop app available. It is used by web designers and front-end developers to create interface designs, which can be exported as CSS code. Figma has become increasingly popular in recent years due largely to its ease of use and collaborative features.

One of the things that makes Figma so user-friendly is its integration with Google Docs. By embedding Figma in Google Docs, you can easily share your designs with others and get feedback without having to leave the document. This also makes it easy to keep your design process organized.

PRO TIP: Figma is not currently compatible with Google Docs. We recommend using an alternative design tool such as Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch.

To embed Figma in Google Docs, first open the document you want to share. Then, click on the “Insert” tab and select “Figma” from the drop-down menu.

This will open a new window where you can enter the URL of your Figma file. Once you’ve entered the URL, click “Insert” and your file will be embedded in the document.

Now that you know how to embed Figma in Google Docs, you can take advantage of this handy tool to streamline your design process. With Figma, you can easily create beautiful interface designs that can be exported as CSS code. And by embedding Figma in Google Docs, you can share your designs with others and get feedback without ever leaving the document.
