How Do I Embed a PDF in Weebly?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 2:44 pm

Weebly is a popular website builder that allows users to create and design their own websites without having to code. One of the features that Weebly offers is the ability to embed PDF files into your website. This can be useful if you want to display a document, such as a contract or agreement, on your website.

In order to embed a PDF in Weebly, you first need to upload the PDF file to your Weebly account. You can do this by going to the “Files” tab in the Weebly editor and clicking the “Upload Files” button.

Once the PDF is uploaded, you will need to copy the URL of the file. To do this, click on the PDF file in the “Files” tab and then click on the “Copy URL” button.

PRO TIP: Weebly does not currently support PDF embedding. If you attempt to embed a PDF on your Weebly site, it will not display properly. We recommend using another file format (such as JPG or PNG) for your documents.

Next, you will need to add an “Embed Code” element to your Weebly page. To do this, click on the “+ Add Element” button and then select “Embed Code” from the list of options. Paste the URL of your PDF file into the “Embed Code” box and then click on the “Save” button.

Your PDF file will now be embedded into your Weebly page. You can adjust the size of the embedded PDF by clicking on it and then dragging one of the corners. You can also add text or other elements around your embedded PDF.

To embed a PDF in Weebly, first upload the PDF file to your Weebly account under the ‘Files’ tab. Then copy its URL from under that tab. Next, add an ‘Embed Code’ element on your desired page in Weebly editor, and paste said URL into its given box.

Save changes. Your PDF should now be embedded into your Weebly page! You can adjust size by clicking and dragging one of its corners; likewise, you can add text or other elements around it as desired.
