What if Buyer Does Not Accept Order on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:01 pm

If you’re a Fiverr seller, you know that the buyer has three days to accept an order before it’s automatically canceled. But what happens if, for some reason, the buyer doesn’t accept the order?

If a buyer doesn’t accept an order within three days, the order is automatically canceled and the funds are released back to the buyer. The seller will also receive a notification from Fiverr informing them of the cancellation.

However, if a buyer needs more time to review an order, they can contact the seller and request an extension. The seller can then choose to grant the extension or not. If an extension is granted, the buyer has three additional days to accept the order.

PRO TIP: If a buyer does not accept an order on Fiverr, the seller may not be able to deliver the work and may not be able to receive payment.

If a buyer still doesn’t accept an order after the extension period, the order is again automatically canceled and the funds are released back to the buyer. The seller will also receive another notification from Fiverr informing them of the second cancellation.

At this point, the buyer has two options: they can either contact the seller and try to work out a resolution, or they can leave a negative review for the seller. If a resolution is not reached, or if the buyer leaves a negative review, the seller may be subject to penalties from Fiverr.
