Can I Request for Feedback on UpWork?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:48 pm

As a freelancer, one of the best ways to improve your services is to get feedback from clients. Unfortunately, not all clients are willing or able to provide feedback. If you’re having trouble getting feedback from clients, you may be wondering if you can request it on UpWork.

The short answer is yes, you can request feedback on UpWork. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before doing so.

First, remember that feedback is voluntary. Your client is not obligated to provide feedback, no matter how much you may want or need it.

PRO TIP: If you are considering asking for feedback on Upwork, be warned that this is not a process that is condoned or encouraged by the site. While you may be able to find some feedback from other users, it is likely that this feedback will be limited and may not be entirely accurate. In addition, requesting feedback on Upwork could result in your account being suspended or terminated.

Second, be aware that some clients may be hesitant to provide honest feedback if they think it could jeopardize their relationship with you. If a client does provide feedback, take it with a grain of salt and use it as constructive criticism to improve your services.

If you decide to request feedback from a client, the best way to do it is through UpWork’s messaging system. Simply send a message asking if the client is willing to provide feedback and why. Be polite and respectful, and don’t be afraid to offer something in return, such as positive feedback on the client’s own work.

Keep in mind that not all clients will be willing or able to provide feedback, but it’s always worth asking. Requesting feedback is a great way to show that you’re interested in improving your services and growing as a freelancer.
