How Do You Create Separate Shop Pages in WooCommerce for Each Product Category?

If you’re running a WooCommerce store, you may have noticed that there’s only one main “Shop” page. This can be confusing for customers, who may not know where to find the products they’re looking for.

Fortunately, it’s easy to create separate shop pages for each product category in WooCommerce. This can be done by creating a new page for each category, and then adding the appropriate shortcode.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to create separate shop pages in WooCommerce for each product category, be aware that this may result in duplicate content on your site. This can be problematic for both search engines and your visitors, as it can make it difficult to find the information they are looking for. In addition, if you do not take care to properly redirect traffic from your old shop pages to your new ones, you may lose visitors and sales.

For example, let’s say you have a category called “Shirts.” To create a dedicated shop page for this category, you would first create a new page in WordPress and title it “Shop: Shirts.” Then, you would add the following shortcode to the page:

[product_category category=”shirts”]

This would display all products in the “Shirts” category on the new “Shop: Shirts” page. You can repeat this process for each of your product categories, and link to the appropriate shop page from your main menu.

By creating separate shop pages for each product category, you can make it easier for customers to find the products they’re looking for on your WooCommerce store.
