How Do I Make Text Columns in Squarespace?

Last updated on December 11, 2022 @ 1:38 am

There are a couple different ways that you can go about creating text columns in Squarespace. You can either use the built-in Columns Block, or you can create your own columns using the HTML < p >, < b > and < u > tags.

If you want to use the Columns Block, simply add a new block to your page and select the ‘Columns’ option from the drop-down menu. Then, use the controls to specify how many columns you want and how much space you want between each column.

You can also specify whether you want your columns to be equal in width or not. Once you’re happy with your settings, click ‘Apply’ and then start adding content to each column.

If you want to create your own columns using HTML, the first thing you need to do is wrap your content in < p >, < b > and < u > tags. For example, let’s say we want two columns of text, with each column being 50% of the width of the page. We would start by adding a < p > tag around our entire content.

2. If using the Columns Block, select it from the Add Block menu and configure your settings.
3. If using HTML tags, wrap your content in < p >, < b > and < u > tags as needed.
