In Figma, you can show typing in a few different ways. One way is to use the ‘Text’ tool and then click and drag to create a text box.

You can also use the ‘Type’ tool, which is found in the ‘Tools’ menu. Once you’ve selected the Type tool, you can click anywhere on the canvas and start typing.

Another way to show typing in Figma is to use the ‘Text’ tool and then click on the ‘+’ icon in the top left corner of the text box. This will create a new line of text.

You can also use the ‘Return’ key on your keyboard to create a new line of text.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, it is easy to accidentally show typing in Figma. This can be a nuisance if you are trying to work on something and keep getting interrupted by the typing animation. To avoid this, be sure to turn off the setting that enables typing in Figma before you start working.

You can also change the font size, color, and other formatting options for your text by selecting the ‘Text’ tool and then clicking on the ‘Format’ tab in the top right corner of the screen. From here, you can make changes to your text’s font, color, alignment, spacing, and more.
