How Much Is a Squarespace Domain?

A Squarespace domain is a unique, fully customizable URL for your website. You can use any available domain name, or create a new one, and there are no restrictions on what you can do with it.

You can use a Squarespace domain for your website, email, online store, and more. There are four different types of Squarespace domains:

1. Domain names with Squarespace: If you have a domain name already, you can transfer it to Squarespace or connect it to your site. We’ll help you set it up.

2. Domain names through another provider: You can also use a domain you purchased from another provider, like GoDaddy or Hover. Connect it to your site through our Domains panel.

3. Custom domains: If you don’t have a domain yet, we’ll help you choose and purchase one through our Domains panel.

4. Subdomains: With a Squarespace site, you also get a free subdomain, like yourname.Squarespace.com. You can use this as your primary domain or redirect it to another site.

No matter which type of Squarespace domain you choose, you’ll get full control over its settings and features. You can pointing it to another website, enable email forwarding, and more.

How much does a Squarespace domain cost?

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Squarespace to create a website, be aware that you will be charged an annual fee for your domain name. This fee is in addition to the monthly subscription fee you will pay to use Squarespace.

1. Domain names with Squarespace:

If you have a domain name already, you can transfer it to Squarespace or connect it to your site. Prices start at $20/year for the first year of registration with Squarespace.

2. Domain names through another provider:

You can also use a domain you purchased from another provider, like GoDaddy or Hover. Connecting an external domain to your Squarespace site is free.

3. Custom domains:

If you don’t have a domain yet, we’ll help you choose and purchase one through our Domains panel.

4. Subdomains:
