Does Fiverr Charge You Right Away?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:03 pm

When you sign up for Fiverr, you are asked to provide your payment information. You can link your PayPal account or use a credit or debit card.

Once you have provided this information, you are able to start ordering gigs. When you place an order, the funds are transferred from your account to the seller immediately.

Fiverr does not charge buyers any additional fees. The only time you will be charged is when you purchase a gig. Fiverr keeps a small percentage of each transaction as a service fee.

PRO TIP: Fiverr does not charge you right away for your purchase. When you make a purchase, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the transaction. However, you are only actually charged when the work is complete and you are satisfied with the result. If there are any issues with the work, you can always contact customer service to get help.

If you cancel an order before the gig has been delivered, you will receive a full refund. If the gig has been delivered but you are not satisfied, you can request a revision. If the revision is not satisfactory, you can request a refund from the seller.

To sum it up, Fiverr only charges you when you actually purchase a gig.

Conclusion:

So does Fiverr charge you right away? Only when you purchase a gig – making it super convenient for buyers!
