Where Is the Color Code in Figma?

There are many ways to change the color of text in Figma. The color picker is one way, but there are also a few other ways to change the color of text. One way is to use the color code.

The color code is a 6-digit hexadecimal code that represents a specific color. To find the color code in Figma, go to the “Edit” menu and select “Color Code.” This will open the Color Code panel.

PRO TIP: If you are working in Figma and trying to change the color of an object, beware! The color code is not in the usual place. To change the color of an object in Figma, first select the object, then click on the fill color in the toolbar at the top. A color picker will appear. From here, you can either enter a hex code or use the eyedropper tool to select a color from elsewhere in your design.

In the Color Code panel, you will see a field where you can enter the hexadecimal code for a color. You can also use the sliders to adjust the hue, saturation, and lightness of the color. To find a specific color code, you can use a color picker tool or search for “hex codes” online.

Once you have found the hex code for the color you want, simply enter it into the Color Code field in Figma and click “OK.” The text will now be that color. You can also use this method to change the color of other objects in Figma, such as shapes and frames.

So, where is the color code in Figma? It’s in the “Edit” menu under “Color Code.” Just enter the hex code for the color you want and click “OK.”
