If you’re using Wix as your website builder, you may be wondering how to change your DNS (Domain Name System) settings. DNS is what allows people to find your website online, and changing it can be a bit confusing if you’re not familiar with the process.

Luckily, we’re here to help. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps of changing your DNS on Wix step-by-step. By the end, you’ll know how to point your domain name to a new server so that people can find your website at its new location.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Step 1: Log in to your Wix account and go to the “Domains” tab.

Step 2: Click on the domain name that you want to change the DNS for.

Step 3: Scroll down to the “Nameservers” section and click on the “Change” button.

Step 4: Select the “Custom Nameservers” option and enter the new nameservers that you want to use for your domain.

Step 5: Click on the “Update Nameservers” button to save your changes.
