Assuming you have a Squarespace account (if not, sign up for a free trial at www.Squarespace.com), login and go to the Home Menu. Click on the Pages icon, then hover over the page you want to add a section to and click the gear icon.

Click Edit Page in the pop-up menu.

On the left side of the Edit Page screen, you’ll see the Section Layout options. If you don’t see this, click the Section Layout button at the top of the screen.

Here you can add, delete, or rearrange sections on your page. To add a new section, click one of the section layout options, then click Add Section.

PRO TIP: This article covers how to add and manage sections on your Squarespace site. Sections are the building blocks of your site’s content. They let you add, rearrange, and style content on your pages.

When adding sections, be mindful of how they’ll affect your site’s layout. For example, adding a Gallery section to a page with a Sidebar will change the page’s layout to Gallery Page.

If you’re not happy with a section’s default settings, you can always customize it. To learn more, visit Customizing Sections.

Sections are a powerful tool for creating custom content on your Squarespace site. With a little bit of creativity, you can use them to build just about anything.

When you hover over a section on your page, you’ll see three icons appear in the top-left corner of the section. The first icon is for adding content to your section; click it to open the Content Editor. The second icon lets you change your section’s layout; clicking it opens the Section Layout screen we just looked at.

And finally, the third icon is for deleting sections; just click it to delete that entire section from your page.

Conclusion: In conclusion, managing sections in Squarespace is easy once you know where to find the tools. With a few clicks, you can add, delete, or rearrange sections on your Squarespace pages.
