How Do I Move Content From One Squarespace Page to Another?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 12:55 am

There are a few different ways that you can move content from one Squarespace page to another. One way is to use the drag-and-drop editor. Simply click on the content you want to move and then drag it to the new location.

Another way is to use the copy and paste function. To do this, highlight the content you want to move, press Ctrl + C (PC) or Cmd + C (Mac), and then go to the new location and press Ctrl + V (PC) or Cmd + V (Mac).

PRO TIP: When moving content from one Squarespace page to another, be sure to take into account the different ways that content can be formatted on each page. For example, if you are moving text from a page with a sidebar to a page without a sidebar, the text may not appear in the same location on the new page. Additionally, be sure to check any links that are included in the content you are moving – they may need to be updated to reflect the new page location.

If you want to move an entire page of content, the easiest way is to use the Page Manager. To access the Page Manager, go to Settings and then Pages. From here, you can drag and drop pages to reorder them, or you can click on the three dots next to a page and select Move.

Moving content from one Squarespace page to another is easy and straightforward. Whether you use the drag-and-drop editor, the copy and paste function, or the Page Manager, you can quickly and easily move content around on your Squarespace site.
